Publications
Thank you for your interest in my work. I have authored a supplemental book series on piano technique as well as created over 20 arrangements of both choral pieces and pedagogical arrangements of select popular songs.
My book series, Elements of Piano Technique and Applied Theory, is available for purchase as PDFs through this website's online store, and in paperback on Amazon.com. Elements of Piano Technique and Applied Theory is a comprehensive series that covers 44 different elements and spans Late Elementary to Advanced levels. As technique can be highly personal, this series intentionally leaves a lot of room for the teacher to guide the physical approach. This allows for its successful use as a supplement to any curriculum, or with any method book series. Each unit contains theoretical explanations & examples of each element so students understand what they are practicing and anywhere from 5 to 10 preparatory exercises so students know how to practice. Each book also contains a Practice Checklist to track progress and set tempo-related goals.
My arrangements are available for purchase through SMP Press on Sheet Music Plus.com. Some intermediate level solo piano titles include: Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen); The Scientist, Clocks, Viva la Vida (Coldplay); Lovely (Billie Eilish); Lost in Japan (Shawn Mendes), Don't Stop Believin' (Journey); and Africa (Toto). This is My Father's World is available for SATB choir and piano.
I am always working on projects and have several more works ready to add to my catalogue. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or are interested in what is up and coming. Thanks again!
